The course is aimed at introducing the principles, processes and operational tools to early detect and proactively manage the risk of corporate financial distress.
The principles introduced in the course have also been implemented at the regulatory level in Italy in the new Code of corporate financial distress and insolvency.
- Knowledge of the main contents of the Code of corporate financial distress and insolvency
- Knowledge of the main instruments for the early warning of financial distress
- Knowledge of the main methods for economic and financial planning

2. Tools for the early signals of financial distress
- The "external alerts" set in the CCII
- Convergence with the contents of the banking regulation (EBA Guidelines on loan origination and monitoring) and the role of banks
- The internal alert and the company's appropriate structure: regulation and implementation guidelines
- Financial analysis and financial indicators for distress
3. Business planning: the forward-looking valuation
-The Budget: objective, how to construct it, practical examples
-The Business Plan: objective, how to construct it, practical examples
-The credit scoring models: from multivariate analysis to machine learning
During the course, where possible, practitioners (such as CFO, Financial Analyst, Head of Fintech) will be invited as speakers to present some real-world situation.
