The teaching is part of the ​​economic & business area disciplines foreseen by the degree course in Hospitality Innovation and e-Tourism. It aims to make the student acquire knowledge and understanding of quantitative methods, with particular reference to hospitality firms.
This specific teaching allows the student to (a) acquire the knowledge and understanding of the context in which hospitality firms operate; (b) the main variables with which to understand, analyze and measure them; (c) organizational and managerial models; (d) the marketing policies and tools applicable by hospitality businesses; (e) the fundamental legal rules and frameworks within which these tourism businesses operate. At the end of the course, the student will be able to approach the tourism macro-industry sector with greater awareness, and will also be able to interpret the dynamics of the specific sector.

B2 level of English. Attendance and good results of all the first year courses, in particular those of the the business-economic area and tourist services - represent a significant competitive advantage for students.

The final assessment will be based on the written exam. The optional presentation of a project work and activities during the lectures may positively influence the final mark. Details will be provided on moodle and during the course.
Written exam in two-steps (1. multiple choice pre-access test> 2. full written exam) and optional oral exam (for marks of excellence / above 26).
