The course "Modern languges lab - German language" belongs to the "Type of educational activity: Final examination or foreign language knowledge [E]" of the following Master's Degree Programmes:

- Italian Philology and Literature;
- Ancient Civilisations: Literature, History and Archeology;
- History from the Middle Ages to the Present.

and of the following Bachelor's Degree Programmes:
- Humanities;
- History.

The Lab is open for interested students attending other Degree Programmmes.
Expected learning outcomes, with reference to the Dublin descriptors:
1. Knowledge and understanding of phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexis; the ability to understand simple critical texts; awareness of linguistic registers;
2. Applying knowledge and understanding: the ability to understand simple and short academic texts. The metalinguistic awareness acquired in the module should facilitate language learning in an academic context.
3. Learning skills: understanding academic texts and the ability to translate them into Italian.

COURSE TITLE: German Language for Humanities

Expected learning outcomes:

Oral exam (about 45 minutes) aiming to verify the abilities acquired by students, to check their knowledge of the whole programme and their ability to reflect critically on its themes (please see the course Moodle).
Front lectures that will introduce the students to the topics and the texts in the programme. Practicals.
