The teaching is part of the practical disciplines foreseen by the degree course in Hospitality Innovation and e-Tourism. More specifically, and in relation to the "job -readiness" aspect of this program, it aims to make the student acquire knowledge and understanding of the importance of preparing a good profesisonal profile and the right mindset to land properly during the internships scheduled during the study program.
At the end of the course, students will be able to create and present their professional profile in person and on Linkedin. The profile will be updated after each internship.
B2 level of English. Attendance and good results of all the previous courses represent a significant competitive advantage for students.
- Introduction to Linkedin and its main features.
- How to prepare an effective linkedIn profile in the beginning of your hospitality career.
- How to enhance the appeal of the profile with posts, reports, continuous education and letters of recommendation.
- Interaction with potential employers: push and pull self-marketing activities.
- "landing" in a new company: DOs and DONTs
notes from the teacher
The final assessment will be based on the presentation of a specific assignment consisting in the creation of a professional profile on linkedin. Details will be provided during the course.
