This is one of the core courses of the Master’s Degree Programme in “History of Arts and Conservation of Aristic Heritage”. The course deals with theoretical and contemporary discourses about museums and other institutions dedicated to conservation and memory
The course allows students to acquire the fundamental knowledge of the history of museology. An initial introduction is related to the method and approach to the subject. Then the course will deal with the typical characteristic of the transformation and typological evolution of the museum.
No specific skills are required.
