As part of the characterizing activity of the curriculum of European, American and Postcolonial Languages and Literatures - Literatures and Cultures, the course aims to provide students with a general knowledge of the historical-cultural context and the study of the connections between literature and art taking as examplecontemporary Iberian cases.
It also aims to provide critical and methodological tools, aimed at students' acquisition of skills in understanding and analyzing texts and works of art that foster autonomy of judgment.
Lectures, reading, analysis of texts and exams will take place in Spanish in order to consolidate comprehension and communication skills in appropriate language.
Upon completion of the course, students should demonstrate knowledge of:

-the critical notions fundamental to the analysis of texts, works of art and films;
