The course contributes to the educational objectives of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Digital management which aims at providing students with updated knowledge on the implications of digital technology on organizational processes and strategies.
The course is divided into two parts. The first (6 cfu) provides students with an introductory overview on Management and the challenges connected with sustainability and digitalization (main concepts of e-business, the use of digital technologies to face the challenges that Management faces, Industry 4.0, etc). The second part of the course (6 cfu) will discuss the processes through which innovative business models are developed and deployed, with reference to both cases of pure players and cases of digital transformation of brick and mortar businesses.
- Know the basic elements of strategic management.
- Acquire the basics of the main transformations in the business environment (digitalization, sustainability)
- Know the fundamental concepts of e-business and digital technologies, with the relevant management implications
- Apply digital technologies to context data analysis processes;
No further prerequisites are required, other than those eventually envisaged by student's study plan.
