The course is one of the elective activities of the study program. Its objective is to provide students with the basic knowledge about financial markets and financial instruments. A focus is devoted to financial instruments for SMEs and green and digital bonds.
Knowledge and understanding:
1) Knowledge and understanding of the operation of financial markets;
2) Knowledge and understanding of the technical and economic characteristics of financial instruments (debt securities and equity).
Applying knowledge and understanding:
1) Ability to use the knowledge to read documents and online information about regulated financial markets;
2) Ability to apply the information about financial instruments in order to assess their yield and risk.
Making Judgments:
1) Ability to select the financial instruments more consistent with financing objectives of SMEs.
Prerequisite: Business Administration.
Students are required to know the fundamentals of Private Law and Corporate Finance.

Exam on Moodle, 12 multiple choices questions and one open end question, 25 minutes time.
To take the exam, it is necessary to:
1. have a PC/tablet;
2. present an identification document with a photo.

The evaluation grid for the exam is structured as follows:
- 12 multiple-choice questions: each question is worth 2 points, for a maximum total of 24 points. The questions cover various topics in the curriculum and are designed to test students' understanding and knowledge. Incorrect answers do not incur penalties.
- One open-ended question: the open-ended question is worth 7 points and requires students to elaborate a detailed response, demonstrating their ability to analyze and synthesize. The evaluation of this question is based on criteria such as the relevance of the answer, clarity of exposition, correctness of content, and argumentative ability.
In total, the exam can reach a maximum score of 31 points; in this case, honors will be awarded.
