The seminar covers the disciplinary area of Slavistics (SLAV-01/A). It aims to introduce the doctoral students to the main theoretical and methodological approaches in the study of the Russian verbal aspect through the reading of essays and the subsequent discussion of some topics in this area of research. It also aims to provide the necessary knowledge for using the National Corpus of the Russian Language (RNC) in language research. The final goal is to broaden the scholarly horizon of doctoral studies to include language research, as is necessary for a culture and language specialist.
The seminar “А methodological approaches in the study of the Russian aspectual system” belongs to the specialized area seminars of the Doctoral Curriculum in Modern Languages, Cultures and Societies and consists of two sessions of three academic hours each to be held in the second semester of a.y. 2024-2025.
