Exam Modality
The Spanish Language exam will be held in person and consists of a final test structured in two parts: a written test and an oral PowerPoint presentation about an Italian city for which a business plan is proposed. This could be a project to improve some tourist service or an existing offer, or a new project from a tourism perspective that aims to increase visitor interest in the chosen location while respecting the environment.
The written test (60 minutes), which will take place before the oral presentation, aims to verify the achievement of B1 level language competence and consists of a grammar test (gap-filling) on the grammar and vocabulary topics covered in class, and the translation of short sentences from Italian to Spanish. In the simulation of the written exam model found in Topic 2 on your course’s Moodle page, there are some examples of the types of sentences to complete. The use of dictionaries is not allowed.
The oral presentation, which should have a maximum of twelve slides, can be done in a group (maximum 3 people) or individually. The group presentation will last between 15 and 20 minutes, and the individual presentation between 10 and 12 minutes. The outline for the city presentation can be found on the Moodle course page, Topic 3.
To participate in the exam, you must register for the exam session.
Please note that the required textbook to prepare for the exam and to follow the course is: "ENTORNO TURÍSTICO" by EDELSA.
The presentation must be sent at least 15 days before the exam session to jnaharro@nive.it.
The written and oral tests will be held on the same day. If the number of students is too high, the oral test will be held on a later date.
