This course aims to provide a solid foundation in business computing (hardware, operating systems, networks, linux, databases, client-server applications) applicable to Japanese companies and the Japanese business world. In addition, the course aims to provide a broad terminology of basic Japanese computer terms and advanced skills for querying corpora.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
Basic concepts of modern operating systems.
Basic knowledge of networks.
Basic knowledge of Linux.
Basic knowledge of web and database programming.
Basic knowledge of Japanese computer science terminology.
How to query corpora.
Having basic knowledge of basic computer science and familiarity with video-writing programs

- Information infrastructures (hardware, network and data infrastructures) and the corresponding concepts in Japanese language
