Teaching is one of the key components of the Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Social Work. The course aims to provide knowledge of the categories and institutions of family law that are relevant to the various operational areas of social services. The course will focus on the principles and disciplines of family relations, couple relationships, and parentage, with specific attention to situations of distress. The goal is to offer the tools to operate correctly in the various areas where graduates in Social Sciences and Social Work may be employed, as well as to develop a legal problem-solving approach, particularly regarding distressing situations that may arise in family relational contexts, and to articulate the problem using appropriate language, framing it within the relevant legal contexts.

1.2 To know the individual institutions of family law that are the subject of the program.
