Many students, when faced with their first scientific article, fear the "blank page." PhD students often find the writing process frustrating, as it takes time before they reach their desired goals. This course is designed to provide the tools necessary to approach the writing of a scientific article or text with confidence. Students will discover that by properly organizing their ideas before they start writing and applying some simple strategies, scientific writing can become not only less daunting but also enjoyable and stimulating. By the end of the course, students will have developed the ability to communicate science in a concise, clear, and elegant manner, significantly enhancing the effectiveness of their communication skills.
Students are expected to learn how to communicate their research effectively and clearly, both in writing and orally, to different audiences.
