- A conversational test on general and cultural subjects.
- An oral exam consisting of:
- Reading of an academic article chosen by you and agreed upon with me. A PDF copy of the article must be sent to me for approval. It will not be necessary to translate the article or to be able to read it aloud. The student must demonstrate understanding of its content and provide a brief oral summary. I will ask some follow-up questions, inquire about your opinion on the usefulness and quality of the content, and whether you agree or disagree with the author's conclusions.
You can choose the article based on your interests or in preparation for your future thesis, if you already have a topic in mind. All topics consistent with the course of study are appropriate: linguistics, literature (classical, modern, or contemporary), history, religions and philosophy, art, archaeology, cinema, environment, etc.
- Reading, translation, and commentary on the article read during class.
Type of exam
The lecturer has a duty to ensure that the rules regarding the authenticity and originality of exam tests and papers are respected. Therefore, if there is suspicion of irregular conduct, an additional assessment may be conducted, which could differ from the original exam description.
