LAUREA MAGISTRALE. Seguo un massimo di 5 tesi per anno accademico. La precedenza è data a studenti che hanno frequentato i miei corsi, hanno partecipato alle attività per frequantanti, hanno avuto una valutazione alta (30 o 30L), presentano progetti di tesi incentrati su fenomeni d'età moderna e su fonti primarie d'età moderna in linea con i miei interessi di ricerca (v. il mio profilo e le mie pubblicazioni)

LAUREA TRIENNALE. Seguo un massimo di 10 tesi per anno accademico. La precedenza è data a studenti che hanno frequentato i miei corsi, hanno partecipato alle attività per frequantati e hanno avuto una valutazione alta (30 o 30L).

La tesi triennale va chiesta con ANTICIPO di almeno sei mesi prima della discussione. La tesi magistrale va chiesta con ANTICIPO di almeno nove mesi prima della discussione 

In entrambi i casi è necessario aver già sostenuto almeno un esame con me.

Si può contattarmi via mail per chiedere indicazioni circa la disponibilità, ma è poi NECESSARIO presentarsi al ricevimento, per concordare l’argomento

La tesi deve essere di CARATTERE STORICO e deve necessariamente incentrarsi sull'età moderna (fine XV- prima metà del XIX secolo). In particolare la tesi magistrale deve affrontare in modo originale lo studio di fonti primarie dell'età moderna, manoscritte o a stampa, reperibili presso archivi e biblioteche.

I miei campi di ricerca possono essere consultati nella pagina docente, nelle sezioni pubblicazioni e ricerca. In linea di massima sono disponibile ad accogliere tesi che trattando dell’intreccio tra aspetti culturali, economici e politici in area atlantica ed euro-mediterranea in età moderna

I laureandi devono mantenersi in costante contatto, venendo di persona o via email. I primi steps, dopo aver deciso il tema, sono preparare un indice provvisorio, un abstract (che alla fine potrà essere ampliato e diventare la introduzione) e una bibliografia preliminare

Perché la domanda di laurea venga accolta, è NECESSARIO che almeno un capitolo venga consegnato 15 giorni prima della chiusura della procedura per la domanda di laurea

MASTER'S DEGREE. I supervise a maximum of 5 theses per academic year. Precedence will be given to students who have attended my classes, have submitted papers/attending materials, have attained high evaluations (30 or 30L), and present a thesis project focused on the historical analysis of early modern age phenomena and on early modern primary sources, in line with my research (see my profile and my publications).

BACHELOR'S DEGREE. I supervise a maximum of 10 theses per academic year. Precedence will be given to students who have attended my classes, have submitted papers/attending materials, and have attained high evaluations (30 or 30L).

The bachelor's degree (PISE) thesis must be requested in advance of at least six months before the discussion. The master's degree (RIC) thesis must be requested in advance of at least nine months before the discussion

In both cases it is necessary to have attended at least one of my courses and to have passed the exam.

You can contact me by email to ask for information about availability, but it is then NECESSARY to present yourself during my office hours to decide the topic

The thesis must be of a HISTORICAL CHARACTER and it must focus on the early modern age (late 15th century - first half of the 19th century). The master thesis especially must undertake an original anlysis of early modern manuscrpit or printed primary sources, available in archives or libraries.

My research fields can be consulted on my webpage, in the publications and research sections. In general, I am available to supervise theses which deals with the intertwining of cultural, economic and political aspects in the Atlantic and Euro-Mediterranean area during the the early modern age

Graduating students must keep in constant contact, coming in person or via email. The first steps, after having decided the topic, are to prepare a provisional table of contents, an abstract (which can eventually be expanded and become the introduction) and a preliminary bibliography

In order for the graduation application to be accepted, it is NECESSARY that at least one chapter be delivered 15 days before the procedure for the graduation application is closed

In order for the thesis to arrive at the discussion, it is NECESSARY for the complete text to be delivered 15 days before the closing of the upload procedure

-Questions relating to the internship are dealt with exclusively during the weekly office hours, therefore requests via email will also be processed on that day and at that time.

-Preliminary approval for the start of an internship or a substitutive activity must always be requested. This approval must be requested by email, clearly explaining the location of the experience, the number of hours and tasks that will be carried out. Once approval has been obtained, in the case of an internship, students must compile the training project. The new online application tool must be used to start the internship

-NB: For any activity that for any reason could not use the new online application tool. All signatures (for activation and then for recognition of CFUs) must be requested by coming in person to my office hours, with the forms printed and duly completed. To request a signature, it is not necessary to take an appointment, but it is sufficient to show up at the beginning of the office hours. No exceptions are allowed. Those who are unable to come can send a delegate. The forms must then be delivered/sent to the internship office (stage.areaumanistica@unive.it)

-The professor does not respond to emails that: ask for information that can be easily found independently on the Ca’ Foscari website; ask for digital signatures; ask for clarifications on the procedures. Questions about procedures and filling out forms should be addressed to the internship office (stage.areaumanistica@unive.it) and not to the professor.

Per l'a.a. 2024/2025 sono referente per la mobilità internazionale RIC in sostituzione della prof.ssa Francesca Antonini.

Nel corso del secondo semestre, le pratiche e le richieste via mail relative alla mobilità internazionale vengono gestite una volta alla settimana durante l'orario di ricevimento. 

Tutti i documenti relativi alla mobilità internazionale vengono firmati una volta alla settimana, durante l'orario ricevimento. Assicuratevi di inviare tutti i file con il dovunto anticipo, in formato pdf e completi in tutte le loro parti, in modo che possano essere firmati digitalmente.

-Le questioni relative allo stage vengono trattate esclusivamente durante il ricevimento settimanale, perciò anche le richieste vie mail verranno evase quel giorno e in quell'orario.

-L’approvazione preventiva per l’inizio di uno stage o di un’attività sostitutiva va sempre richiesta al docente referente. Tale approvazione deve essere richiesta per email, spiegando chiaramente sede dell’esperienza, monte ore e compiti che saranno svolti. Ottenuta l’approvazione, in caso di stage, si compila il progetto formativo. Per l'avvio dello stage deve essere utilizzato il nuovo applicativo online

-NB: Per qualunque attività che per qualunque ragione non potesse utilizzare il nuovo applicativo online. Tutte le firme (per l’attivazione e poi per il riconoscimento dei CFU) vanno richieste recandosi di persona al ricevimento presso lo studio del docente, con i moduli stampati e debitamente compilati. Per la richiesta della firma non è necessario chiedere un appuntamento, ma è sufficiente presentarsi all'inizio del ricevimento. Non sono ammesse eccezioni. Chi è impossibilitato a venire, può inviare una persona delegata. I moduli vanno poi consegnati/inviati all’ufficio stage (stage.areaumanistica@unive.it)

-Il docente referente non risponde ad email che: chiedono informazioni facilmente reperibili in modo autonomo sul sito di Ca’ Foscari; chiedono firme digitali; chiedono delucidazioni sulle procedure. Domande sulle procedure e sulla compilazione dei moduli devono essere rivolte all’ufficio stage (stage.areaumanistica@unive.it) e non al docente referente
