Cristiana Pagliarusco graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Ca' Foscari University in Venice, specializing in Anglo-American and Russian language and literature. She obtained teaching specialization degrees in English Language and English Language and Culture at Ca' Foscari University. Additionally, she earned degrees from annual postgraduate courses on "Foreign Language Learning and Development," "Aspects of Culture, Literature, and Civilization in England: Elements of Teaching," and "Teaching and Methodology of English Literature."

She completed her Ph.D. in Humanities at the University of Trento, with a thesis focused on Anglophone ekphrastic literature.

Since the year 2000, she has been teaching at upper secondary schools. She holds a teaching position at Liceo Scientifico Statale "G. B. Quadri" in Vicenza, where she serves as the coordinator for European Projects (Move, Erasmus+), PCTO tutor, and coordinator for some University of Trento and Venice career guidance projects.

She has been a tutor for international mobility students, working on the PNRR School 4.0 Plan and PON projects (National Operational Program with the European Social Fund, Axis I, for expanding basic skills). She has also served as the coordinator for Language Certifications and is a linguistic training consultant for local and multinational companies. 

She is also a translator, primarily working on texts related to visual arts and literature.

Her research activities encompass:
- The study of intersections and contaminations of verbal and visual languages
- Specific-purpose language teaching (the use of specific micro-language)
- Gender variations and micro-languages in Anglophone language and culture textbooks
- The study and analysis of contemporary American or Anglophone poetry and its aesthetic, political, and ethical functions.

Cristiana Pagliarusco has authored numerous publications in prominent national and international scientific journals such as Altre Modernità, Home Culture, and Acoma. She collaborates with scientific journals in literature and education, having served as the chairperson for the 8th Conference of the Centre for Caribbean and Diaspora Studies at Goldsmiths University in London. She has conducted seminars on American lyricism and the use of gendered language in English language textbooks.
