Antonella Manca is a musicologist and archivist focused on music and digital archives. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Università di Pavia's Dipartimento di Musicologia e Beni culturali in Cremona, writing a thesis in the field of music philology. In 2024, she successfully completed her PhD with honours at the University of Udine, where she was engaged in the research project entitled "I balletti di Roman Vlad: vecchie e nuove forme per una moderna musica per danza". In 2025, she obtained her diploma from the School of Archival Science, Paleography, and Diplomatics at the State Archives of Venice (contemporary archives). 

Her musicological research focuses on the history of music and musical theatre between the 19^(th) and 20^(th) centuries, combining archival research, philology, and musical analysis. Concurrently, Antonella Manca has participated in initiatives aimed at the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the enhancement of musical archives and bibliographies, collaborating with esteemed Venetian cultural institutions such as the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, the Fondazione Ugo e Olga Levi, and the Fondazione Archivio Luigi Nono.

During the 2024–25 academic year, she was a contract professor on the Digital Publishing Laboratory course at the University of Udine. 

Since October 2025 She is involved in a research project about the musealisation of musical documents with Venice Conservatorio "Benedetto Marcello", funded by Scuola Nazionale del Patrimonio e delle Attività Culturali.
