Barbara BOIFAVA

Barbara Boifava is an architectural historian. She graduated from the Iuav University of Venice, where she completed a PhD in the History of Architecture and Urban Studies. She has carried out research at the Archivio del Moderno of the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio where she developed post-doctoral research as a fellow of the Swiss National Fund for Scientific Research. She worked as a research fellow Iuav at the University of Pennsylvania.Her continued interest in the history of contemporary architecture is consistently accompanied by studies of garden and landscape projects. For some years, her research has focused on the relationship between landscape and the contemporary city. She currently teaches History of Landscape Architecture at Cà Foscari University in Venice.
