2014 Articolo su rivista Ibrahim Kassa belay The effluent water of any industries such as textile, leather, paper, printing, cosmetic, etc. contains large amount of hazardous dyes. There is a huge number of treatment processes as well as adsorbents that are available in low-cost adsorbents for the removal of hazardous dyes from aqueous waste by adsorption treatment. In this study, a thermally treated eggshell was used as an adsorbent to remove methyl orange from an aqueous solution. All operating parameters like; adsorbent dose, contact time, particle size, and initial concentration of methyl orange were effective in their removal efficiency of the dye. in CHEMISTRY AND MATERIALS RESEARCH, vol. 6 (ISSN 2225-0956)
