Antonio Spinelli is a secondary school teacher, seconded since 2019 at the Historical Institutes of the Resistance and of the Contemporary Age (first in Venice and then in Vicenza). He graduated in Philosophy in Bari (2000) and in Historical Sciences in Padua (2020). He specialized in Venice, Padua and Verona in curricular teaching (2002) and as a support teacher (2003). He trained in particular on the issues of human rights and citizenship (advanced courses obtained in Padua in 2002, 2004, 2010 and 2012) and the Shoah with training courses activated by MIUR in Paris (2011), Berlin (2013) and Jerusalem (2019) and with the master's degree in Didactics of the Shoah of the RomaTre University (2013).

He deals with the history of the internment of foreign Jews and the Shoah in Veneto and Italy, fascist concentration camps and places of memory. Among his interests the history of the anti-fascists and the Resistance. As a teacher he has been involved in projects and educational workshops, exhibitions, teacher training. He has been running the website www.internamentoveneto.it since 2006.
