SHORT BIO

I’m a bio-systems physicist. My current research interests focus on physical first principles and mathematical modeling applied to Earth System Sciences, Ecology, and Sustainability.

I work on non-equilibrium thermodynamics of th Earth System with applications to land-atmosphere interactions and tropical deforestation. I work on Systems Thinking, systems dynamics, ecological modeling and non-equilibrium thermodynamics with application to cancer research and land use change.

I’m currently involved in a community science project focused on environmental monitoring, land and water use.

I worked in primary and secondary school teaching science with hands-on methods.
