authorities from 5 different Mediterranean countries.
•Data-driven analysis of citizens' systemic vulnerability to heat on the Italian territory at the census tract level.

•Evaluation of the efficiency and accessibility of 3 cooling shelters (urban heat adaptation measures) in the Province of Venice through the administration of surveys to both users and facility managers of the climate shelters.
•Policy analysis based on a web review of climate shelter initiatives implemented across Italian provinces.
