Education and Expertise:

I hold dual degrees in Vocal Performance and in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language. This combined academic background enables me to integrate linguistic expertise with an artistic foundation, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to Korean language education that incorporates cultural and expressive dimensions.

Teaching Experience:

Over the past eleven years, I have taught Korean in the United States (3 years) and Italy (8 years), working with students of diverse ages and backgrounds. This experience has enabled me to develop **targeted and effective teaching methodologies** adapted to learners’ specific needs.

Teaching Philosophy:

I place particular emphasis on the principles and values underlying the creation of Hangeul by King Sejong, inspired by his spirit of love and care for the people (Aemin Jeongsin, 愛民精神). King Sejong created Hangeul with the goal of enabling everyone to learn and use the writing system with ease. The accessibility and universality of Hangeul continue to represent important educational values, particularly for learners of Korean as a foreign language.

In university teaching, I apply these principles to help beginning learners develop a clear and systematic understanding of the Korean language. I also integrate the linguistic characteristics of Korean with Korean culture, providing a learning experience that is both culturally meaningful and grounded in sound academic principles.
