Ramón Macho Román (publishing as Ramón Mistral) is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow. His research focuses on contemporary philosophy, particularly its intersections with anthropological theory. His current project at THE NEW INSTITUTE Centre for Environmental Humanities, Nature Pluralism (PlONat), supervised by Roberta Raffaetà, seeks to integrate insights from ontological anthropology — starting from Amerindian ontologies—into philosophical discourse about nature. Before joining Ca’ Foscari, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) for two years. He earned his PhD in 2021 from Université de Strasbourg (UNISTRA) with a dissertation on Jacques Derrida's thought, on which he has published extensively. He was previously an élève at the École Normale Supérieure de Paris (ENS, SIL, 2014).
