She was a fixed-term researcher (RTDA) at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2023-2026), within the PNRR project CHANGES – Cultural Heritage Active Innovation for Sustainable Society. She holds the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for Associate Professorship in Medieval and Romance Philology (10/FLMR-01). Her research focuses on medieval philology, with particular attention to Marco Polo’s Devisement dou monde, its manuscript tradition, reception, and digital editions. She is co-coordinator of the international project DEDM – Digital Edition of the Devisement dou Monde and co-directed the digital critical edition of Giovanni Battista Ramusio’s Viaggi (Edizioni Ca’ Foscari, 2015, 2024). Her work includes the identification of a previously unknown manuscript witness of the Devisement dou monde (ms. A.II.9, Biblioteca Jacobilli, Foligno), as well as studies on the construction and transmission of geographical and cultural imaginaries between the Middle Ages and the early modern period. She co-edited the volume Marco Polo. Storia e mito di un viaggio e di un libro (Carocci, 2024).

She has taught at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and the University of Verona. She is co-editor of the series Filologie medievali e moderne (Edizioni Ca’ Foscari) and serves on the editorial boards of Quaderni Veneti and TranScript.
