1987 – 1999: Officer of the Italian Coast Guard (Capitanerie di Porto).

Served as Harbour Master and District Commander for the coastal areas of Bibione, Caorle, Eraclea, and Jesolo.
Exercised statutory functions regarding navigation, international conventions on marine pollution/safety, and management of maritime state property.
Consultancy: Since entering academia, has provided legal consultancy for private companies, local authorities, and public bodies (within the limits of full-time professorship).
State Examinations: Repeatedly appointed as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Bar Exam and the Chartered Accountants (Commercialisti) qualification.

Philanthropy
Trustee of the "Neurosciences for the Children of Silence" Trust, dedicated to scientific research, diagnosis, and neurocognitive rehabilitation for children with autism.
