Industrial Organic Synthesis

Vision and Mission

Climate changes and Environmental protection are becoming increasingly demanding for the future of us all. We believe that a sound and specific chemical background will be fundamental to meet the new challenges posed by the European Green Deal and FAO’s indicators and to help find new sustainable industrial solutions within the principles of circular economy, reaching zero waste production cycles.
In this framework, our group research activities are manly focused on the implementation of innovative products/processes for the manufacturing industry reducing industrial hazard and environmental pollution. Main ongoing projects are:

Experience of the Group

  • Production implementation from the scale of grams to 15 kg
  • Biomass recovery and recycling
  • Optimization of industrial process
  • Bio-mass modification by catalytic processes
  • Ecodesign of new highly sustainable processes
  • Characterization of bio-masses and polymers
  • Reactions with gases under pressure
  • Separation of chiral compounds by GC and HPLC
