Ca' Foscari inaugurates "Uzbekistan: Avant-Garde in the Desert"

Four works by Kandinsky are also among the approximately 100 on display at Ca' Foscari - thanks to the new project curated by Giuseppe Barbieri and Silvia Burini with the support of the Uzbekistan Culture Foundation, which introduces an extraordinary and still little-known chapter of the art of the first half of the 20th century. 

The Lithuanian ‘Closer’ wins Ca' Foscari’s Short Film Festival

The Lithuanian short film Artumo jausmas (Closer) directed by Augustė Gerikaitė won the International Competition of the 14th Ca' Foscari Short Film Festival, held in various Venetian venues. Ca' Foscari University was the principal organiser of the festival and received support from Avani Rio Novo Venice Hotel, WeShort and Carpenè-Malvolti.

The photo exhibition 'Scarti Scelti' opens in Yangzhou

Until 12 March 2024, the prestigious Marco Polo Memorial Hall in Yangzhou (China) will host a selection of professor Riccardo Zipoli's photos - 24 out of the original fifty 'selected discards' - that made up the original exhibition at Ca’ Foscari Zattere in 2019.
