Have you just chosen Ca’ Foscari University of Venice for your Master’s Degree? This is the perfect time to refresh your knowledge and prepare for what’s ahead with a Jump Start Course – an intensive course designed to equip you with the foundational skills needed to approach your classes and exams with confidence.

What is a Jump Start Course

It is a 30-hour intensive course delivered by faculty members in a blended format, designed to fill in any gaps in mathematics and statistics and to develop your critical thinking skills. It is especially helpful if you come from a non-quantitative background – but it is also a great opportunity for brushing up on concepts and formulas before diving into your Master’s programme.

Why should you take part

  • Strengthen your mathematical and analytical foundations through a practical, hands-on approach with minimal formalism;
  • get familiar with academic life at Ca’ Foscari by meeting professors and fellow students;
  • start your Master’s studies with more confidence and the right tools to succeed;
  • Jump Start Courses are not mandatory – but they are strongly recommended.
