Ca’ Foscari is home to a large number of international students, and we are committed to providing you with the support you need to succeed. We understand that living abroad and studying within a new academic system can be challenging, so we offer various services and resources to ensure that you have a smooth and rewarding experience.
Our main campus is Palazzina Briati in the historical center of Venice, near Campo Santa Margherita, and only 5 minutes walking distance from the beautiful Gothic palace where Ca’ Foscari University still has its main administrative office.

Classrooms
Most of the lessons for our courses are held in one of Palazzina Briati’s four classrooms. The classrooms have been recently renovated (2022) and have up-to-date technology in terms of computers, projectors and multimedia functions. All classrooms are wheelchair-accessible, and the classrooms on the first floor can be accessed by an elevator.
Facilities
University Gym
Palazzina Briati is close to the University Sports Center (CUS) which university students the possibility to participate in a wide variety of sports: judo and personal defence, aerobics and other kinds of gymnastics, fitness, volleyball, basketball, tennis, handball and five-aside-football. There is also a sauna. In the city centre and on the mainland there are also sports facilities for rowing and 'voga alla veneta', sailing, canoeing and kayaking, golf, horse riding, free climbing and swimming.
The CUS also offers university members the possibility to take part in summer and winter camps and organize interfaculty tournaments of football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and five-a-side football
University canteens
Only a 5 minute walk from Palazzina Briati is the University canteen “Rio Nuovo” where Ca’ Foscari students can eat at discounted prices and choose among a variety of menus (full, reduced, vegetarian and light).

Libraries
Ca’ Foscari offers numerous libraries around the city, all of which can be accessed by students through their University ID card, or by signing up for guest access.
If students wish to use a library they need to book their seat through EasyPlanning or the MyUNIVE app.

Spazio ascolto: support & counselling for students
Starting university can bring unexpected challenges — whether with your studies, relationships or simply feeling overwhelmed.
Spazio Ascolto is Ca’ Foscari’s confidential listening and counselling service designed to help you explore whatever is weighing on you in a safe, non‑judgmental space.
Support for students with disabilities and learning differences
Ca’ Foscari University is committed to ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all students. If you have a physical disability or a specific learning difference (such as dyslexia or ADHD), you can access dedicated support through the university’s Inclusivity Service.
