“Stevanato Group” awards

The Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems (DSMN) and Nuova Ompi S.r.l. have created the joint research laboratory “Materials Science Hub (MaSH - Giovanni Stevanato)”, which is aimed at fostering the study and characterisation of the properties of materials - primarily glass - and their subsequent modification following industrial treatments, interaction with drugs and environmental factors. Within the framework of this joint project, Nuova Ompi S.r.l. issues:

  • 3 three-year awards of € 1,000 annually to students enrolled in the bachelor’s degree programmes in Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies and Engineering Physics. To promote gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, one award is reserved for a deserving female student 
  • 2 two-year scholarships of € 1,000 annually to students enrolled in the master’s degree programmes in Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies. To promote gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, one award is reserved for a deserving female student 
  • 2 two-year scholarships of € 1,000 annually to students enrolled in the master’s degree programme in Science and Technology of Bio and Nanomaterials. To promote gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, one award is reserved for a deserving female student 
  • 2 two-year scholarships of € 1,000 annually to students enrolled in the master’s degree programme in Engineering Physics. To promote gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, one award is reserved for a deserving female student 

This initiative aims to encourage students to enrol in STEM academic programmes and foster a greater presence of women in these fields.

Calls a.y. 2025/2026

Who can apply

Students who in the 2025/2026 academic year are enrolled in the 1st year of one of the following academic programmes:

  • Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies [CTR7]
  • Engineering Physics [CTR8]
  • Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies [CMR7]
  • Science and Technology of Bio and Nanomaterials [CM14]
  • Engineering Physics [CMR13]

Having acquired at least 12 ECTS/CFU by the January-February 2026 exam session
