Sustainability Talks - "Ideas on Sustainability for a New Humanism"

What they are

The Sustainability Talks - Ideas on Sustainability for a New Humanism are a series of meetings promoted by the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in collaboration with CISRE - International Centre for Studies on Educational Research, under the patronage of Sustainable Ca’ Foscari and Ca’ Foscari Alumni.

The initiative was created with the aim of fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue on the themes of sustainability, bringing together perspectives from the human, social, natural and technological sciences. Through the contribution of scholars, researchers, professionals and institutional representatives, the meetings address issues related to ecology, ethics, climate change, education, public policy and social transformations, promoting critical reflection and the spread of a culture of sustainability inspired by the principles of the new humanism.

The seminar series is addressed to the academic community, the school world and all citizens interested in exploring the contemporary challenges of sustainable development.
