Curriculum vitae
Cecilia Rofena is Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage, where she teaches Art, Mind, Language, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Literature. She also taught Poetry and Rhetoric until 2023/2024, before taking on the teaching of Philosophy of Language at the bachelor's degree level in Philosophy and History as well as at the master's degree level. She graduated from the University of Pisa under the direction of A.G. Gargani and R. Bodei and she holds an advanced degree in Cultural Sciences from the International School of Advanced Studies of the Fondazione Collegio San Carlo in Modena: her thesis on the relationship between philosophy, art and anthropology in Wittgenstein's thought was directed by A.G Gargani (supervisors B.F. McGuinness, R. Bodei). Cecilia holds a Ph.D. in Philosophical Disciplines from the University of Pisa (supervisors: A.G. Gargani, A.I. Davidson) and studied at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Chicago. She is the author of Wittgenstein e l’errore di Frazer. Etica morfologica ed estetica antropologica; Errore e finzione. Logiche poetiche e poetiche filosofiche; Allo scoperto. L’emozione del linguaggio; A prima vista. Logiche del racconto e del disegno. Her books of poetry are Agogiche. Sette variazioni su semplici mosse interiori; Mosaico.Tempi in tempesta. Her interests include the relationship between philosophy and literature, art theory, Wittgenstein.
