Cultural programme

The programme

The College programme is taught entirely in English using innovative, highly interactive teaching methods.

As a College student, while pursuing your degree at Ca’ Foscari, you’ll take on an enriched academic pathway featuring multi-year Minor and Major tracks alongside hands-on interdisciplinary workshops. International visiting experts and guest speakers regularly join our classes to bring global perspectives.

The College encourages you to explore beyond the classroom. You can earn College credits by participating in extra-curricular activities organized by the College (e.g., Pise Lectures, workshops) or Ca’ Foscari University departments (e.g., guest lectures, seminars).

Credit breakdown: 0,25 ECTS for every 6 certified hours of activity (up to a maximum of 2 ECTS per academic year).

How to claim credits: simply fill out the Declaration of Attendance form, get it signed by the activity coordinator, approved by your Academic Tutor, and submit it to the College Secretariat.

The "College Ambassador" project

Global exposure is at the core of the College experience. That’s why all students complete a mandatory study, internship or thesis research period abroad.

While overseas, you’ll step into the role of a College Ambassador, actively representing our institution and connecting with potential international talent. Upon your return, you’ll submit a brief report showcasing at least one outreach activity completed during your stay:

  • student outreach and info sessions: hosting promotional meetings or info sessions with students, faculty, Italian Cultural Institutes, or high schools in your host country.
  • digital and social outreach: promoting the College through digital platforms and social media (in English or the local language), often collaborating with partner Italian university honors schools.
  • custom ambassador projects: designing your own creative outreach proposal, approved in advance by the College Director.
