Master’s programme

Graduate students choose one of two multi-disciplinary Major courses spanning two years:

Students who complete a Major programme and meet the specific requirements set by the regulations are awarded the Master’s College Diploma, a qualification equivalent to a postgraduate Master's Degree (Master universitario di II livello) legally certified in Italy by the Ministry of Education as per art. 2 of DM 1093/2021.

The Master Programme also includes:

  • History of the Modern Scientific Cultures (6 ECTS course)
  • PhD-Level Course Access: Opportunity to enroll in select courses from 14 Ca' Foscari PhD programs for a taste of third-level academic research.
  • Senior Interdisciplinary Thesis (6 ECTS): In your second year, you’ll write an in-depth, cross-disciplinary research paper and defend it in a public examination after completing your degree.

All College students can customize their experience through a wide selection of hands-on Interactive Labs (1 ECTS each). These short, immersive workshops are designed to help you build key soft skills and practical abilities to boost your future academic and professional career.
