Research

Scientific publications

The University’s publications catalogue retrieves information from ARCA, Ca’ Foscari’s institutional open-access research repository, designed to collect, disseminate, and preserve the university’s scientific output.

ARCA is an Open Access repository: it is freely accessible, indexed by search engines, and searchable via the cerCa portal. This enhances both the University’s scientific production and the visibility of its research.

Research projects

The SELISI centre proposes and participates in numerous research projects, collaborating with both institutional and private partners to achieve the best results and innovative solutions within its main research areas.

Social Innovation Campus

Scientific Supervisor: Stefano Soriani
Grant Holder: Virginia Piazzo
Duration: from 01/03/2025 to 28/02/2027
Annual Amount: €19,367.00 gross (research grant funded by: SELISI centre)

The research project aims to test social innovation activities through participatory and generative processes within the Padua-Treviso-Venice metropolitan area. It seeks to empower young talent and engage a network of public, private, and third-sector stakeholders in relation to teaching models connected to the needs of students and graduates (learning by doing, soft skills development, placement opportunities), the local community (impact-driven teaching), and the University (third mission). The objective of the research project is to promote innovative teaching and social innovation activities at the Treviso Campus by strengthening relationships between actors in the local economic, social, and cultural fabric, as well as consolidating initiatives such as the Urban Innovation ALL (Active Learning Lab).
