Veronica Gobbato graduated in Literature in 2003 at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice with a thesis in History of the Italian Language. In 2010 she obtained a Ph.D. in Romance Philology (University of Verona). She has dealt with medieval texts in Italian (in particular Marco Polo and Boccaccio) and Latin (homiletics literature). She collaborated for several years with the "Carte del Contemporaneo" Archives of Ca' Foscari's Centro Interuniversitario di Studi Veneti (CISVe): she edited the digital collections published on Ca 'Foscari Digital Librarthe y in Phaidra portal and she is co-curator of the Ernesto Calzavara's poems (Cafoscari Editions 2017). Moreover she was Post-Doc researcher at University of Verona, involved in the project "Dascabida. Dallo scriptorium carolingio alla Biblioteca di Dante".  She taught Didactics of the Italian language and Literature for the TFA courses. Since 2016 she has been an adjunct professor of Italian Language and Linguistics (SSD: L-FIL-LET / 12) and Italian Philology (SSD: L-FIL-LET / 13) at the University of Verona.  In 2021 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification as 2nd level Professor for the SC 10 / F3 (Italian Linguistics and Philology).
