Lucio De Capitani is a researcher at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, where he completed his PhD in Modern Languages, Cultures and Societies and Linguistics (English literature). His research interests include colonial, postcolonial and world literatures (especially Indian writing in English, the work of Amitav Ghosh and Robert Louis Stevenson), the connections between anthropology and literary studies and postcolonial ecocriticism. He has published articles on Amitav Ghosh, Anita Desai, Robert Louis Stevenson and Frank Westerman. He has collaborated with the activities of the FAMI IMPACT Veneto Project as a research fellow.
