Paolo Berti is a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. After graduating in Art History from the University of Siena and completing a post-graduate course at the Specialization School in Historical and Artistic Heritage, he received his Ph.D. from Sapienza University of Rome, where he was subject expert and collaborator at the chair of Contemporary Art History. He was a research fellow at the Ca' Foscari Centre for Digital and Public Humanities (VeDPH). As a contemporary art historian, he focused mainly on creative practices related to new media, digital cultures, and mobile technologies, extending to related fields such as critical theory and game studies. He has published for peer-reviewed journals and catalogues, and has worked as a translator and curator.
