A university with a strong international outlook, capable of building meaningful connections between academic learning and the realities of the labour market. This is the picture that emerges for Ca’ Foscari from the AlmaLaurea Report 2026 on Graduates and Employment, which analysed the educational achievements of 5,055 Ca’ Foscari graduates from 2025 and tracked the employment outcomes of 9,289 alumni.

The latest data confirm the University’s excellence in key areas such as internationalisation, practical learning and on-time degree completion, with results well above the national average and reflecting a highly competitive student community.

International Mobility and Attractiveness

The willingness to look beyond national borders remains a defining feature of the Ca’ Foscari experience.

  • Outstanding participation in study abroad programmes: 23.3% of Ca’ Foscari graduates took part in a study-abroad experience recognised within their degree programme, through Erasmus+, Overseas programmes or other international mobility initiatives. This figure is more than double the Italian national average of 10.2%.
  • A truly international community: Ca’ Foscari also proves highly attractive to talented students from abroad. Graduates with foreign citizenship account for 8.6% of the total, rising to 11% among Master’s graduates, compared with a national average of 5.6%.

This international drive is supported by an ever-expanding strategic network comprising more than 500 global mobility agreements and over 50 active Double and Joint Degree programmes, developed in partnership with prestigious universities worldwide.

Practical Learning and Timely Graduation

Alongside its international scope, Ca’ Foscari invests heavily in hands-on learning opportunities before graduation.

  • Internships: More than nine out of every ten graduates (90.3%) completed a curricular internship recognised within their degree programme. This is significantly higher than the national average of 60.9%. This outcome is made possible by a network of more than 12,000 active agreements with companies and organisations, together with the dedicated support provided by the University’s Career Service.
  • Graduation times and degree results: Ca’ Foscari students stand out for the consistency and quality of their academic careers. Some 65.6% graduate within the standard duration of their programme, compared with a national average of 60.4%. They also complete their studies at a younger average age (25.1 compared with the Italian average of 26.3) and achieve an average final mark of 104.2 out of 110, almost two points higher than the national average.
  • Student satisfaction: The overall experience at Ca’ Foscari is highly rated. Some 87.9% of respondents reported being fully satisfied with their degree programme, while 87.3% expressed a positive view of their relationship with academic staff and the quality of teaching.

Employment and Career Development After Graduation

The 2026 survey highlights clear and positive trends regarding the post-graduation prospects of Ca’ Foscari alumni.

Bachelor’s Graduates
For graduates completing a first-cycle degree, continuing their studies remains the preferred option: 67.1% of the 2,769 Bachelor’s graduates enrol directly in a Master’s programme. Among those who enter the labour market immediately (30.9%), the employment rate one year after graduation stands at 72.6%.

Master’s Graduates
Employment outcomes become particularly strong and competitive for graduates completing a second-cycle degree:

  • One year after graduation: the employment rate reaches 83.2%, exceeding the national average of 80.8%.
  • Five years after graduation: the employment rate rises to 93.9%, broadly in line with the national average.

Employment Stability and the Value of the Degree
Regarding long-term employment stability, around seven out of every ten employed Master’s graduates hold a permanent contract five years after graduation.

The value of the qualification is also clearly recognised in the labour market: five years after graduation, six out of every ten graduates report that their Master’s degree has been decisive, effective or highly effective in relation to the professional activity they carry out.
