Submission of contributions

Presentation types

All individuals involved in any aspect of analytical chemistry research are cordially invited to submit one or more abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

  • Oral presentations
Oral presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes including discussion (12 minutes for the presentation + 3 minutes for Q&A) and keynotes for 20 minutes including discussion. Oral presentations will be supported by a video projector connected to a PC. Slide projectors or overhead projectors are not available. Slides should be prepared in .pptx or .pdf format, using a 16:9 aspect ratio. Authors of oral presentations are requested to deliver their speech in Italian and prepare their slides in English to assist non-Italian participants. Apple users are advised to bring all necessary adapters with them.
  • Poster presentations
Three poster sessions are scheduled. At least one author for each poster must be present during their assigned session to discuss the work. Posters must be written in English to assist non-Italian participants. the maximum space allocated for each poster is A0 format (84.1 x 118.9 cm) (width x height). Materials for mounting the posters will be provided on-site by the organisers.

The preferred presentation format (oral or poster) must be specified in the submission form. Those selecting an oral presentation must also indicate their relevant session. Given the limited number of oral slots, authors may be invited to change their presentation status from oral to poster at the sole discretion of the Scientific Committee.

Abstract preparation and submission

The official language of the Congress is Italian; however, to ensure international visibility for the scientific content published online, abstracts must be written in English and submitted by 29 May 2026.
From Saturday 30 May 2026 until Friday 26 June 2026, scientific contributions will only be considered for "last-minute" poster presentations.

  • Abstracts must be prepared on a single A4 page, including any single figure, bibliographic references, and acknowledgements.
  • Use Arial 12 pt font, with single line spacing and zero paragraph spacing.
  • The bottom and side margins must be 2 cm; the top margin must be 3 cm.
  • Leave a single blank line between the title and authors' names, between the affiliations and the main text, and between the text and the bibliography.
  • Each author must be identified by their surname preceded by their first initial.
  • The name of the presenting author must be underlined.
  • Authors with different affiliations must be distinguished by a superscript number.
  • To facilitate the management of scientific contributions, please name your file as follows: Surname_oral.docx or Surname_poster.docx.

Acceptance

Following evaluation by the Scientific Committee, formal notification of the acceptance of contributions will be provided by 30 June 2026.

For the publication in the official programme and in the Proceedings of the Congress (with ISBN), at least one of the authors must register by 20 June 2026.
