Education and research activity
I obtained my Master’s degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Padua in 2007.
After one year as a research fellow, I began a PhD program in Biosciences, with a curriculum in Biostatistics, under the supervision of Prof. Roberto De Marco, and was awarded the PhD degree in 2012.

I subsequently held a postdoctoral position in Statistics at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, under the supervision of Prof. Gaetan.

My research activity primarily focuses on the development and application of statistical methods to address real-world problems, with a particular emphasis on environmental epidemiology. My main research interests include:

  • Spatial and temporal analysis, aimed at investigating patterns in environmental variables;
  • Bayesian methods, for modeling complex data structures in environmental studies;
  • Epidemiological modelling, to study the association between environmental exposures and health outcomes.

Further details on my research activity and publications are available on my Google scholar page.
