Curriculum vitae

Born in Fiorenzuola d’Arda (PC) in 2000, I completed my classical secondary education at the Liceo M. Gioia in Piacenza before continuing my studies at the University of Bologna. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History in 2022 with a thesis entitled 'Le premier saint Augustin: una lettura critica del libro di Stéphane Ratti' (supervisor: Beatrice Girotti; final grade: 110/110 cum laude). In 2024, I obtained my Master’s degree in Historical and Oriental Sciences with a thesis titled 'Debacchantibus barbaris. Le invasioni di V sec. raccontate dai vescovi cattolici' (supervisor: Beatrice Girotti; final grade: 110/110 cum laude).

Since 2025, I have been a PhD candidate at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (41st cycle, Doctoral Programme in Ancient Heritage Studies). My project, 'Profughi, fuga e accoglienza nell’epoca delle invasioni', examines various cases of mobility within the Roman Empire during the fourth and fifth centuries in the context of the barbarian invasions.

My research interests focus on Roman history, particularly Late Antiquity. I work on social history, religious history, provincial contexts, and the interactions between the Roman world and barbarian groups.
