Lorenzo Loiudice holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages, Cultures and Societies of Asia and Mediterranean Africa (China curriculum) from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He subsequently moved to China, where he continued his academic studies, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language with a specialization in Economics and Trade (汉语言〔经贸方向〕) from Capital Normal University (首都师范大学) in Beijing, followed by a Master’s Degree in Chinese Law (中国法) from Renmin University of China (中国人民大学), also in Beijing.

After completing his studies, he worked in Beijing as Marketing & Events Manager and Chargé of Legal Matters at the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in China (SwissCham Beijing).

Upon returning to Italy, he has worked in linguistic and cultural consulting, marketing consulting, translation and interpreting, collaborating with Italian companies and institutions in the context of their relations with China. He is registered as a Chinese-language Court-Appointed Expert (Consulente Tecnico d’Ufficio - CTU) with the Court of Verona and as a Chinese-language Expert with the Verona Chamber of Commerce.

For several years, he has also been engaged in university teaching in the fields of Chinese language, translation and intercultural communication. He has served as Adjunct Professor of Chinese Language at the University of Insubria and the University of Verona, and as Adjunct Professor of Communication Strategies in Chinese at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

He is currently Adjunct Professor of Chinese-Italian Translation at SSML Unicollege, a Higher School for Language Mediators, and Adjunct Professor of Advanced Chinese for the Social Sciences 1 – Module 1 at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
