Course overview

Sustainability skills are indispensable for any managerial figure, even those who are not specifically focused on the subject: knowing and paying attention to the implications of sustainable management is a fundamental requirement for the long-term value generation of any company.
The course aims at shaping professional figures that operate in both managerial and consulting roles, capable of interpreting the context in which companies operate and managing innovation through the lens of sustainability. During the Master's degree programme, students will acquire specific skills on  company management, expanding their knowledge on individual company roles and on the company as a whole and in relation to its external environment, through a sustainability-oriented mindset.
The course builds skills in the following areas: corporate strategy, strategic planning and sustainability management, planning and control, non-economic and performance measurement, marketing, human resources management, business innovation systems, information and decision support systems, labour law, and technology management.
A highly valuable aspect of the Degree Course is the close relationship that is maintained with companies. Knowledge, in fact, is acquired through curricular teaching activities enriched by seminar activities and testimonials from outside experts.

Double and Joint Degree

Ca' Foscari University of Venice offers international educational programmes designed in collaboration with one or more partner universities, entailing the attendance of part of the study path abroad. Double and Joint Degrees available:

Examination assessment and graduation

During the whole university career, the various skills and knowledge acquired by students will be assessed through written and oral examinations.
The degree exam consists in writing a thesis, which must possess the characters of originality, exhaustive documentation and scientific investigation and which will be discussed with a committee of university professors and experts.
