This course represents a stage of consolidation and improvement of the linguistic skills acquired during the undergraduate course. The aim of the course is therefore to introduce students to different kind of contemporary Persian texts, like roman, novel, essay, poetry,etc. studing the specific lexicon, structure of sentence and idiomatic sentences.
At the end of the course the student will acquire the theoretical and practical skills to face independently and critically the reading and translating of modern literary texts of different nature; will be familiar with the main tools necessary for the comprehension of the texts (specialized dictionaries, lexical databases, repertoires of idiomatic forms, checks on network of the use and the functions of particular linguistic expressions, etc.). The work with CEL will be focused in particular on the Media.
Solid knowledge of Persian at an intermediate level.
