HISTORY OF CONTEMPORARY PHILOSOPHY - I

The teaching falls within the basic common of the degree course in philosophy and aims to provide students with the necessary methodological tools for critical learning of the main historical-philosophical problems of the contemporary age, also in connection with other knowledge and areas of research. In particular, the teaching objectives are aimed at acquiring the understanding, knowledge and critical interpretation of the main philosophical texts of the contemporary world.

The course aims to provide an in-depth knowledge of the most important historical-cultural philosophies and contexts, the problems of the contemporary age and the relationship between the various "specialized" know-how.
For these reasons, the didactic task is to provide knowledge and train comprehension skills so that the student can build a critical autonomy of judgment and correct linguistic and communicative skills.

General knowledge of the processes and dynamics of the history of contemporary philosophy

The course aims to draw some conspicuous points and provide a map of the central joints of philosophical thought and of the so-called Kultur of the twentieth century and of the contemporary age, through the interpretation of the thought of Friedrich Nietzsche.

The text will be oral.
The candidate will have to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the topics dealt with, of the bibliography texts and critical thinking matureness, so as to be able to actively verify the level of preparing and at the same time the achievement of the objectives that the course proposes.
