The course is aimed at providing an overview on the firm and the key issues related to its management. After an introduction on the methodological foundations and the context of the firms operating in the context of cultural productions, the course focuses on the analysis of the CCIs, analyzing those processes and products through which firms operate, and ends with the analysis of the main models of value production.
After completing the course, students will understand which are the main strategies and processes characterizing the cultural organization, which are the main characteristics of a cultural organization’s environment, and what processes could add value to the firm and let it grow within this environment.

Supporting readings and slides will be downloadable from the Moodle web page of the course.
Written exam, with a mix of open-ended and multiple-choice questions.
Students will be given the opportunity to integrate the grade of the final exam with group-works that will be presented in class.
