The course focuses on the theme of design as a strategic element of both personal and professional dimensions, placing it in dialogue with the new needs matured in the complex and global reality and, in particular, with those expressed by the different contexts of educational action (companies, socio-educational services, school, vocational training). A systemic perspective, this, which returns a vision of composite design and various levels of complexity, which will be explored critically starting from the acquisition of knowledge of theoretical models and methodologies necessary to design quality educational interventions, up to the examining background documents of national and European educational policy.
Knowing how to look at planning in a systemic perspective.
Know the categories of analysis to interpret and understand the educational and teaching problems.
Know the different design models in relation to the different theoretical reference approaches.
Know the design phases.

Knowing how to work in a group.
Knowing how to structure a project.
Know how to monitor and evaluate a project.
Being able to reflect on the design action.
No prerequisite is required.

Semantics of design (program, project, design, planning, macro-design and micro-design).
Design syntax (training needs analysis, context analysis, goal setting, time and space management, identification of resources and constraints, choice of means and tools, activity planning, monitoring and evaluation).
Design and evaluation for skills.
For attending students: oral discussion of the reference texts and a project drawn up in groups during the exercises.

For non-attending students: oral discussion of reference texts and a project on a theme agreed upon with the teacher.

Furthermore, the involvement of students in the classroom, the relevance of the interventions, the commitment during the exercises, the willingness to participate actively in the discussion and the moments of intermediate collegial review are considered fundamental components for a profitable frequency and are elements of evaluation that will compete at the end of the final exam.
