Knowledge and understanding of cultural history of the Central and Eastern Europe.
Knowledge and understanding of the studied works.
Knowledge of the literary phenomena and contextualization within the framework of the society that produced them.

Understanding the issues, the evolutionary lines of the period examined.
Understanding a literary text and be able to use critical and methodological tools to analyze it.

Be able to evaluate and reflect on author, themes and texts treated.

Be able to describe with terminological precision literary phenomena treated and know how to present them with adequate communication skills.

Learning ability
Be able to develop specific methodological tools in the study of the various materials.
Be able to critically consult books and references contained in them.
No previous knowledge is necessary to attend this course.
Prof. Francesca Fornari: "Survey of Polish literature and culture: 1918 - 1939":
Cultural traditions, historical processes, works and authors that have shaped Polish literature and national identity.

The module of Dr. D'Amico is dedicated to the Czech avant-garde period (1920s) and in particular to the esthetic-philosophical-cultural reflection of cinema as a new art by K. Teige.

Il modulo della dott.ssa Bradaš si svolge nei giorni 12, 19, 26 settembre e 3 e 10 ottobre come ciclo B del modulo Letteratura serba e croata 2 modulo 2 = Storia della cultura serba e croata (Rio Nuovo 3, 8.45-10.15).
Temi: La situazione sociolinguistica nei paesi jugoslavi, Le migrazioni interne: i bosniaci in Slovenia, Le politiche culturali jugoslave, Il cinema nella Jugoslavia socialista, Ivo Andrić e il suo contributo alle letterature slavomeridionali
